About LM Boyer

LM Boyer is a wife, mother, friend, nurse, manager for a local ministry, pet parent to an obscene amount of pups, and the author of the romance Convalescence Series.

Not knowing what she wanted to be when she grew up, she studied subjects such as calculus and accounting before deciding upon an official major in college. While she spent an excessive amount of time at The Ohio State University and then University of Cincinnati to ultimately obtain her proud Bearcat nursing degree, she would not trade a single minute of it. It taught her that nothing is a coincidence. And that God used (and continues to use) all of it to shape who she is today: a God-loving, people-loving (and animal-loving), and story-loving gal.

She began writing Convalescence, the first book of the trilogy, in her twenties after comforting and mentoring a dear friend as she endured a gut-wrenching, devastating break up. The advice given, prayers said, laughs shared, and tears shed not only helped her friend through a difficult time, but also blessed Boyer by getting to be there for someone she loved. As the women talked, they realized that many could benefit from sharing these coping strategies with others. It was then that she sat down to begin writing a story of a college-age girl and how she overcomes heartache while finding lasting friendships and a personal connection to the God who loves her.

Believing strongly that God can change lives, she currently facilitates a women's bible study group and works for a ministry that helps people who have been impacted by addiction. She also began writing the blog Peaceful & Purposeful LIFE where she shares her experience with God and what she has learned through the years.

When she's not typing away at her computer with the next story that pops into her head, you'll find her reading and spending cherished time with her loving husband and three amazing grown children.
